Report: Marseille want Arsenal’s Matteo Guendouzi on loan; approach made
Marseille have approached Arsenal about potentially taking Matteo Guendouzi on loan, .
The 21-year-old is yet to feature for Mikel Arteta’s side this season. So it would be little surprise to see him leave before the transfer deadline passes.

Foot Mercato reports that a number of clubs have registered an interest. And it now appears that they have been joined in the race by Marseille.
, the Ligue 1 side recently made contact with the Gunners over a potential loan move. It is also claimed that the club have approached Guendouzi’s representatives to express their interest.

Foot Mercato does not suggest Arsenal’s response to the bid. But perhaps it would make sense if they were more inclined to listen to loan offers at this stage.
Of course, the Gunners would surely prefer to sell him permanently. However, the deadline is looming.
And shifting his wages – worth £40,000-a-week, – off the books for a season is better than nothing.
Arsenal will have their own plans for the final days of the window. And loaning out Guendouzi may just hand Arteta’s kitty a small boost.
The Gunners will also know that Guendouzi’s value may be a lot higher this time next year than it is now should he leave on loan and impress.
