Report: Marsch tells Leeds players to return to training on Wednesday
Jesse Marsch was cheered on Friday after telling the Leeds United squad that they did not need to return to training until this Wednesday, .
Leeds go into the international break on a real high. For only the second time this term, they have won back-to-back games in the Premier League. And they look to now be in with a fantastic chance of remaining in the top-flight.

Of course, the clash with Norwich was a must-win. But the jubilation of that result coupled with the incredible comeback at Wolves last week means that the Whites look to be in a brilliant position.
Leeds are now seven points clear of the bottom three. And while they have played more games than almost all of the teams around them, they now find themselves as close to the top-half as they are to the relegation zone.

Obviously, it was not quite the perfect evening at Wolves. Patrick Bamford, Diego Llorente, Mateusz Klich and Illan Meslier all came off due to injury. So it is probably no surprise that Marsch has looked to boost morale amongst the Leeds squad further.
that Marsch told the Leeds players that they did not need to return to training until Wednesday. And it is suggested that that is longer than any mid-season break they enjoyed under Marcelo Bielsa.
In fact, it is mentioned that the cheers were heard down the Molineux corridor when Marsch informed the players.
Leeds squad are clearly loving the chance to work with Jesse Marsch
There is absolutely no doubt that Bielsa left Elland Road an icon. For many, relegation would not have tainted his legacy had he been unable to keep the club up.
It seems highly likely that many of the players will name Bielsa as one of the biggest influences in their career when their playing days are done. They clearly feel a massive amount of gratitude for what he has done for them.
But it does appear that they are enjoying Marsch’s different approach. And right now, that is absolutely crucial. Leeds remain in the mix to go down.
However, Leeds could not have come back at Wolves without a tremendous amount of belief. And Marsch’s different style of management appears to have helped the side regain their confidence.
