Report: Manuel Pellegrini on borrowed time at West Ham
As reported by , West Ham boss Manuel Pellegrini is on borrowed time after another defeat on Boxing Day. The club have won just two of their last 12 games and are in serious danger of falling into the relegation zone.
The Hammers suffered a late loss to Crystal Palace on Thursday, with Andre Ayew scoring in the 90th minute to condemn them to yet another loss.

They are sat just one place above the relegation zone and face a tough test at home to Leicester this weekend before facing AFC Bournemouth on New Years Day. If Pellegrini fails to pick up any points from those two games, his time at the club could be up.
After some significant summer spending, fans and the West Ham board alike will have been hoping for much better. A former Premier League-winning manager, Pellegrini will have been confident he could take the club to the next level.
This has not been the case and the hierarchy at the club is reportedly losing their patience with the Chilean. Only four teams have scored fewer goals than the Hammers this season, and a new manager could freshen things up.

It’s time to go. West Ham are in danger of being relegated and considering the amount of summer investment, that would not be good enough.
With half of the season still to go, there is still time to turn it around. A new manager could rejuvenate the West Ham side, and get the best out of some talented summer signings.
