Report: Manchester United may consider offers for Leeds target Garner
Leeds United have received a boost in their pursuit of James Garner, that Manchester United may be open to selling the midfielder permanently this summer.
Garner has been one of the Championship’s most outstanding players this season. He has helped Nottingham Forest put themselves right in the mix for promotion to the Premier League.
Steve Cooper’s men also went on an amazing run in the FA Cup. And Garner’s ‘‘ performances at the City Ground have certainly caught the attention at the highest level.
He is on loan from Old Trafford. But reports claimed that Leeds are monitoring the 21-year-old as they look to bolster their midfield options this summer.
Of course, there is a major rivalry between the two clubs. But they have done business in recent times, with Daniel James moving to Elland Road last summer.
And it would appear that the door is not being shut on Leeds signing Garner from the Manchester United end. that they may consider permanent offers for the youngster.
