Report: Manchester City target £68m ace who coach believes can ‘transform’ into ‘one of the best’
Manchester City are reportedly eyeing AC Milan star Theo Hernandez, with PSG also keen on the left-back.
, the 23-year-old defender is on the Premier League champions’ radar. Hernandez is one of Serie A’s most exciting fullback talents. And the youngster has been a key reason why Milan are now back in the UEFA Champions League.
The Rossoneri qualified for Europe’s elite competition after finishing in the top-four last season. Since joining in 2019, Hernandez has scored 15 goals and assisted 13 in 81 appearances for Milan.

Hernandez won’t come cheap for City, though. As per back in June, Milan will only accept an offer of around €80m (£68m) for the French defender. The left-back’s contract with the Italian giants expires in 2024.
Despite a huge transfer fee, Hernandez could be a rare exception of a player who could be worth the price. Milan manager Stefano Pioli that the defender has the potential to ‘transform into one of the best’ in football.

Moreover, with City’s left-back area continuing to be a cause of concern for some supporters, going big on Hernandez could be a way to solve this problem for many years to come.
The Marseille-born defender is one of Italy’s most dynamic left-backs and has proven with Milan to be an exceptional talent if in the right environment. And for City, Hernandez could thrive in a Premier League setting.
