Report: Manager makes it clear he wants his club to sign £15m-rated Liverpool player, exit allowed

Porto manager Sergio Conceicao has reportedly made it clear he wants his club to sign Liverpool player Marko Grujic this summer.

, the Reds will allow the exit of Grujic this summer on a permanent basis.

After spending this season out on loan with Porto, the Portuguese club now want to bring him back.

It is understood that Conceicao is desperate to have the Liverpool-owned midfielder back in his squad.

The report explains that the Merseyside giants are confident they can command a transfer fee of £15million, amid interest from a number of different clubs. However, Porto are the frontrunners right now.

Grujic is now a wanted man by Porto because he’s just enjoyed a strong campaign out on loan with the.

Aged 25, the central midfielder became a key figure in their starting XI.

Grujic exit from Liverpool makes sense for all parties

Unfortunately, Grujic has never been able to make a breakthrough at Anfield since joining Liverpool back in 2016.

The Serbia international has excelled with Porto in a deep-lying midfield position, but he’s got the athleticism to play a box-to-box role as well.

Liverpool do have a void in their squad following Georginio Wijnaldum’s exit. However, £15million for Grujic seems like a good piece of business if Porto are willing to meet it.

He needs a permanent home where he can settle and fulfil his potential.
