Report: Loan move for Arsenal goalkeeper Alex Runarsson in doubt
Arsenal have been dealt a blown in their push to offload Alex Runarsson that a loan move to Altay Spor is now in doubt.
Runarsson looks to be one of the players that Mikel Arteta is ready to offload during the summer transfer window.

It comes after an incredibly difficult first season at the Emirates. The Iceland international made a handful of costly mistakes.
And his performances seemed to prompt the Gunners to bring in Mat Ryan on loan in January.
It had appeared that he was set to move to Turkey this summer. In fact, reports earlier this week claimed that he was set to seal his deal in the coming days.

However, he could now see that move fall through. , the deal is in doubt because Altay have failed to agree a loan fee for the 26-year-old.
Blow for Arsenal if Runarsson fails to seal loan this summer
It is hard to see any way back for Runarsson at the Emirates. Even if he receives any further chances, his calamitous mistakes will never be too far from fans’ minds.
So a loan move looks to make perfect sense. He can attempt to get his career back on track by playing more regularly.
Should he impress, his stock will be slightly higher. And Arsenal should find it easier to offload him permanently.
So seeing a loan move fall through will be a blow. He is on £40,000-a-week, . So his exit would help Arteta’s men clear some space on the wage bill.
It is unlikely to derail Arsenal’s plans. They need further depth in that area of the field whether he stays or not.
But having Runarsson around beyond the window will surely do no one any favours.
