Report: Liverpool would only consider Harry Wilson sale, loan move ruled out

Liverpool have reportedly decided they will not be loaning out Harry Wilson next season, which means the only way he can leave Anfield is on a permanent basis.

, the Reds don’t want to send the 23-year-old out on loan again after last season’s spell at Bournemouth.

It is understood that Jurgen Klopp’s side could consider offers in the excess of £20million for the Wales international, but if that doesn’t come he will remain on Merseyside.

The report adds that Premier League trio Leeds United, Newcastle United and Southampton have all enquired about his availability too.

Wilson is a left-footed winger that scored seven goals in 35 appearances for Bournemouth last season, but was part of a team that were relegated from the Premier League and he’s now returned to parent club Liverpool.

He is a product of the Reds academy that has been on a string of loan moves in his career and it looks like this summer is a big moment in his career.

TBR’s View:

Liverpool’s stance on Wilson is going to put pressure on the three potential suitors, as they will have to fork out upwards of £20million if they want to sign him in this summer’s window.

The winger has shown that he’s got the quality to be a top performer in the Premier League and on his day has so much talent, but aged 23 now he’s coming out of the bracket of youngster and needs to try find a settled home.

It could be worth Klopp giving the Welshman a full season with the senior group, as he would be decent cover in the final third for them across a busy schedule and it would be great to see another academy player break into the squad.
