Report: Liverpool won’t be signing Ozan Kabak in January
Liverpool will not be signing Turkish defender Ozan Kabak in January as they look to ease their defensive crisis in the coming months.
That is according to , who claim that Jurgen Klopp has concerns over whether Kabak can make an immediate impact at the club given he is only 20.

Klopp is thought to be keen on landing a defender who can come straight into the first XI at Anfield. Kabak, despite his qualities and being watche by Liverpool, is thought to be too much of a risk.
It means the Reds are more likely to pursue a more experienced name in the market, with Kalidou Koulibaly the more obvious name to spring to mind when it comes to fitting that mold of player. The Reds are also to be keen on Dayot Upamecano.

The Premier League champions have been rocked by injuries to both Virgil van Dijk and more recently, Joe Gomez. It leaves the Reds with just Joel Matip as an experienced centre-back, while Fabinho has stepped in when needed.
Correct strategy, short-term fix is needed – TBR View
This is the right stance from Liverpool here. There is no point in them bringing in a player who is going to take time to settle and may only come good years down the line.
Liverpool need someone for the here and now. But just who that player will be is anyone’s guess.
It couldn’t really be much harder to find. The other issue the Reds have is selling clubs will know they’re desperate, which in turn will ramp up the asking-price.
