Report: Liverpool will listen to offers for Champions League-winning duo
Liverpool could consider selling Divock Origi and Xherdan Shaqiri during the January transfer window,
The duo have been peripheral figures in Jurgen Klopp’s squad during 2020/21, with both falling behind other players in the pecking order.
Shaqiri had looked to earn himself some game time earlier in the season but his opportunities have since dried up.

The 29-year-old has featured in two Premier League games all season, with both coming in the way of cameos from the bench.
Origi has fallen even further down the pecking order this season.
He has played just one minute of Premier League football in Klopp’s team, coming on in the closing stages of a 3-0 win over Leicester City.
The Belgian earns £49,000-a-week at Anfield and during the 2018/19 campaign scored some big goals as Liverpool won the Champions League.
Origi was called by his manager in December 2019 following a strong run of form.
Klopp has suffered badly with injury problems this season but is well stocked when it comes to attacking talent.
Curtis Jones scored in a 1-0 win against Ajax last night, highlighting that Liverpool also have goals in midfield.
One area of concern for the Premier League champions has been at the back. Joe Gomez and Virgil van Dijk have been ruled out long-term, whilst Joel Matip is hardly reliable with his fitness.
TBR View – Selling Shaqiri and Origi looks wise
The last thing Liverpool want to do is stockpile players and right now that’s what they are doing with a few.
Shaqiri is 29 and will want to play, whilst Origi will want to head to the European Championships next summer bang in form.

Both will feel they are good enough to play and why wouldn’t they?
Liverpool will surely try and sign a defender in some way, shape or form during the next window.
If they can raise some funds to do so, Shaqiri and Origi leaving could be best for all parties.
