Liverpool are hoping to raise around £40 million by allowing Harry Wilson and Marko Grujic to be sold during the summer transfer window,
Both players have seen their futures at Anfield questioned recently, with both enjoying successful loan spells over the past couple of seasons.
Loan moves had been mentioned once again but it would now appear that boss Jurgen Klopp is willing to let both of them depart permanently this summer.
Grujic was the Liverpool boss’ first signing when he checked in but has played just 14 times for the Reds in all competitions.

Last season he spent a second successive campaign on loan at Hertha Berlin and was described by former coach Pal Dardai as the club’s best midfielder in the past 20 years
Wilson found himself sampling Premier League football at Bournemouth last season, following his solid campaign at Derby County the campaign prior.
The 23-year-old was part of the Cherries team that suffered relegation from the top-flight but did play in 31 Premier League contests.
He scored seven goals but perhaps interestingly failed to register a single assist in the league throughout the campaign.
Klopp raved about the player previously, telling that he thought his shooting was ‘world-class’ during an interview last December.
Both players are valued at £20 million apiece and there is likely to be plenty of interest in both players.
Liverpool seem unlikely to spend big this summer but raising £40 million on the out of favour duo might allow the Reds some flexibility in the market.
TBR View – Wilson and Grujic leaving permanently suits all parties
In Wilson’s case, he hasn’t really had a chance at Liverpool, playing just once for the first-team.
Grujic has played a little more often but it’s fair to say he isn’t of the same calibre as the club’s current midfielders.

With that in mind, selling both players makes perfect sense.
It would allow Liverpool to free up some room in their squad – and within their wage budget, whilst it’d allow the players to get settled at their new clubs.
Both Wilson and Grujic are solid performers and should easily get themselves tied to new clubs quickly enough.
It’s time for both players to kick on in their careers and staying at Liverpool is nonsensical for the duo.
