Report: Liverpool to offer new contract to five more players, after Alisson and Alexander-Arnold deals
Liverpool midfielder, Fabinho, is set to be one of five new players handed new contracts at the club, following Trent Alexander-Arnold’s new deal.
The England right-back penned fresh terms yesterday, while goalkeeper Alisson Becker is also said to be close to agreeing to a new contract with the Anfield outfit.
And it looks like Liverpool won’t be stopping there either. , the Reds want to tie down another five key first-teamers to fresh terms.

Fabinho is one of them. He leads five names, which include Mo Salah, Sadio Mane, Andy Robertson, and the returning Virgil van Dijk.
Talks on Mane, Salah, and Van Dijk were expected. However, news of Fabinho’s new deal will be welcome news to Liverpool fans. The Brazilian, who , has become an integral member of the team.
Fabinho filled in at centre-half last season. But his midfield return coincided with a run of form which saw the Reds reach the top four.
Vital for Liverpool, Fabinho is world-class
While getting new players seems to be on the agenda for a lot of Liverpool fans, it seems the club wants to tie down it’s best players as well.
And it’s nice to see Fabinho in that cluster of players. Salah and Mane often take the plaudits, but the Brazilian midfielder is so, so important.
Getting him tied down to fresh terms is a smart move from the Reds. He can be the pillar for this midfield for years to come. Indeed, looking back, that £39m seems quite the bargain.
