Report: Liverpool to make decision on Rhian Brewster in early January as Leeds and Swansea circle
A host of clubs are waiting to hear whether Liverpool will loan Rhian Brewster to them.
, Liverpool will make their final decision on Brewster in early January. He could feature against bitter rivals Everton in the FA Cup Third Round and then Liverpool will decide about his future.
Liverpool can either keep Brewster as a back-up striker or loan him out. The England U21 starlet has been on the bench several times for the Reds and has picked up two senior appearances. Both of those came in the EFL Cup and while he hasn’t scored yet, he netted his penalty against Arsenal in the shoot-out.

Brewster could feature in Liverpool’s FIFA Club World Cup campaign. This will give scouts an opportunity to see the talented striker in action in a senior environment.
The 19-year-old is wanted by Leeds United, Swansea City and a number of other Championship clubs. Liverpool’s decision will be made after the FA Cup game in the first week of January.
TBR’s view
A loan spell could be the making of Brewster – but Liverpool need to get this move spot on. He needs to be guaranteed some playing time wherever he goes.
Leeds have already played around with Eddie Nketiah this season and that could work against them. Swansea might be an interesting project for the teenager, who needs to show he can score goals in senior football.
