Doak will not be eligible to feature for the Reds until next season.

In addition, it looks as though Liverpool aren’t done yet in terms of bolstering their academy ranks.

Goal.com claims the Reds have two more young signings in the pipeline.

Trent Kone-Doherty, a 15-year-old who currently plays with Derry City, is reportedly next in line.

The outlet claims Liverpool are set to secure a pre-contract agreement with the Irish youth international winger, who turns 16 in the summer.

In addition, the Reds are reportedly still hopeful of concluding a deal to sign Fabio Carvalho.

Liverpool failed to finalise that transfer on the last day of the January window.

However, the Reds are apparently confident of agreeing a compensation fee with Fulham which would remove the need for a tribunal.
