Report: Liverpool midfielder Marko Grujic set for another Bundesliga loan
Liverpool midfielder Marko Grujic is set for another loan exit. , Grujic will return to Germany on loan with a trio of clubs interested.
Last season, Grujic spent the season on loan at Hertha Berlin. And after scoring five goals in 23 appearances and becoming a fan favourite, it is no surprise to see Hertha Berlin want to bring him back to the German capital.
But they face a battle this summer from two other Bundesliga sides. Eintracht Frankfurt and Werder Bremen also want to sign Grujic on a season-long loan after learning that he is available.

The 23-year-old returned to Anfield after his loan spell with Hertha Berlin and his future was uncertain. All three options were on the table; Jurgen Klopp needed to decide whether he could feature in the first-team in 2019/20 and if not, whether to sell him or loan him out again.
Liverpool have decided that the Serbia international needs another loan spell. He still has four years left to run on his Liverpool contract so Klopp is in no rush to fast-track him into the first-team picture.
TBR’s view
Grujic was thoroughly impressive for Hertha Berlin after recovering from an injury. And he could have played a part in Liverpool’s side next season – even as a squad player.
The towering defensive midfielder offers something different in midfield with tenacity, an impressive passing range and good energy in the middle. But perhaps another season in the Bundesliga, gaining regular playing time, will help him break into the Liverpool side for the 2020/21 season.
