En-Nesyri was reportedly of interest to West Ham in the January window. that month claimed the Hammers had made a £32m bid for the forward, although no move was ever followed through on.

The Reds have struggled massively of late, both defensively and in front of goal. And despite Diogo Jota being set to return soon, it is widely expected Jurgen Klopp will move for a new attacker this summer.

TBR View: En-Nesyri a serious option and a serious player

17 goals in La Liga and the Champions League says it all. En-Nesyri knows where the back of the net is and has proven himself on the highest level he can thus far.

Whether he can make the leap into the more physically demanding English game remains to be seen. But at just 23, he is of the right age to learn, improve, and give this Liverpool team some more cutting edge.

Reds fans should be excited by interest in En-Nesyri. He has all the credentials of a top forward player, and could well suit the Reds heading into next season.
