Liverpool defender Nathaniel Phillips will reportedly be handed his second Premier League start of the season this weekend.
The Reds host Leicester City on Sunday night at Anfield with domestic football returning after the international break.
Liverpool have started the defence of their league crown with 17 points from the opening eight league games and are third in the table, but they are contending with a host of injury problems.
Meanwhile, Brendan Rodgers’ Leicester are sat top of the league after an excellent start and will travel to Merseyside with huge confidence.
, Reds boss Jurgen Klopp is going to play inexperienced star Phillips on Sunday.
The 23-year-old centre-back has become an important first-team player all of a sudden, with Joe Gomez joining Virgil van Dijk on the injury table during the international break.

TBR’s View:
Phillips, 23, looked the part in his previous appearance this season in a 2-1 victory against West Ham and will take confidence from that should he get the nod next to Joel Matip in the heart of the Liverpool defence.
He’s a powerful English centre-back that is great in the air and he’s back at the club after spending last season out on loan in Germany’s second-tier with Stuttgart.
But he’s set to be handed his toughest assignment yet, as it will no surprise to see Leicester’s rapid forward Jamie Vardy target him at the weekend and it could be a pivotal battle in the contest.
