Report: Liverpool could now try to sign World Cup finalist who Jamie Carragher says would be ‘perfect’ under Jurgen Klopp

claims Liverpool could try to sign World Cup finalist Kylian Mbappe and Jamie Carragher once said he would be ‘perfect’ under Jurgen Klopp.

Liverpool have been linked with a move for Mbappe for a number of ♚seasons now and reported back in October that the 23-year-old is looking to leaᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚve Paris Saint-Germain.

The Frenchman only signed a 🃏new deal with Christophe Galtier’s side over the summer but he is appa🌞rently disgruntled due to broken promises.

The Reds have already bolstered their attacking options after losing Sadio Mane to Bayern Munich back in June. Klopp has brought in Darwin Nunez for a club-record fee from Benfica but reports in Spai🗹n suggest they are considering a move for Mbappe.

Liverpool could now try to sign Mbappe

Sport reports that Mbappe is set on leaving PSG and he could inforꦚm the Frenc🤪h champions of his decision before the end of the year.

The French star wants a ‘change of scenery’ and feels he could thrive at a different club, while he is not happy with the direction that PSG are🦩 heading in right now.

The outlet claims Manchester United have already declared their interest in signing Mbappe, while Chelse✅a and Liverpool are considering the op𒁏portunity.

Of course, Mbappe looked set to seal a mov🌟e to Real Madrid earlier this year but renewed his deal with PSG. But Florentino Perez remains interested in the French attacker.

Before Mbappe put pen to paper with PSG, Carragher feltܫ Liverpool would be the ‘perfect’ club for him to take his next step after leaving France.

“I know Jurgen Klopp had spoken to him then and I’m🦩 sure other clubs had at that time,” Carragher told CBS Sports back in Februar💜y 2021, via .

“When Liverpool were in the Champion🤡s League final and won the Champions League a couple of years ago, I think anyone watching Liverpool there with Jurgen Klopp and the support of Anfield, if you’re ever gonna go to a club in England before you gಌo to Real Madrid.

“Because I think he will, guaranteed, play for Real Madrid at some stage in his career but I’d always f꧑eel that maybe Liverpool is that perfect destination for a player like that before you make that next step.”

Mbappe was brilliant for France at the World Cup but was denied lifting the trophy for a second time by Lionel Messi and Argentina. He did manage to win the Golden Boot award though after bagging eight goals in✤ seven games.

Of course, there will not be many clubs in the world that will be able to afford Mbappe, should he decide to le🧸ave France.

Liverpool have only recently broken their club-record tr🍌ansfer fee for Nunez and there is uncertainty surrounding the future of Fenway Sports Group’s ownership of the club. It seems highly unlikely that the Reds will be pushing to sign Mbappe anytime soon, especially after the Frenchman penned a new deal with PSG earlier this year.
