It is understood that Coutinho can now leave for £77 million and that could alert several Premier League clubs.

The 27-year-old has scored seven goals and registered eight assists during his loan spell with Bayern Munich.

Havertz is viewed as one of the wonderkids of European football.

The 20-year-old has scored five goals and registered two assists this season and can play in a number of positions.

Leverkusen are thought to value Havertz at £80 million and Liverpool will hope to pounce during the summer.

Havertz is viewed as a star of the future and Liverpool fans will surely prefer seeing him in action for the club.

Under Klopp, the German international would have the potential to thrive and his midfield energy would suit the current Liverpool style.

Coutinho is paid £281,000-a-week at Barcelona and the Reds would be wise to finally move on from the Brazilian.
