Journalist claims Liverpool boss Klopp would love to sign Saul Niguez
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp would allegedly love to sign Saul Niguez this summer.
According to Pete O’Rourke, the transfer fee is an issue for the Merseysiders.
The Reds have been linked with a move for the Atletico Madrid midfielder all summer long. Some were claiming the club made a £34m offer for the Spaniard.

O’Rourke claimed that a move will only occur if it was financially possible.
When talking about Niguez to Anfield, the reporter told : “For Liverpool, I think they’d love to sign Saul Niguez, but, I think the transfer fee might be an issue there.

Saul is ideal for the Reds
Amid Klopp’s alleged love of the ace, Niguez would add some steel to the Liverpool midfield.
His career took off under the stewardship of Diego Simeone.
There was a point in his Atletico career when he was a crucial cog in the Uruguayan’s system. Two Champions League finals in three seasons bear testament to that.
His ability at both ends of the pitch, coupled with his endless energy, will only help enhance the Reds next season.
However, it seems those financial issues will hamper any move. It makes potential departures all the more important if Liverpool want to complete a move for the ace.
