Report: Liverpool, Arsenal and Tottenham want Olympiacos star Konstantinos Tsimikas

that the race for Olympiacos left-back Konstantinos Tsimikas is hotting up with Premier League quartet Liverpool, Tottenham, Arsenal and Leicester City all joining the race for the Greek defender.

Tsimikas, 23, has been in impressive form this season in both the Champions League and Europa League where he faced Tottenham in the group stages and then helped his side beat Arsenal in the knockout rounds of the Europa League.

His impressive form which has seen him lasy on seven assists in 37 outings has caught the attention of many clubs around Europe. A move to Italy is on the cards, with both Inter Milan and Napoli very interested in Tsimikas.

The report claims Liverpool have joined the race for Tsimikas in order to add competition to Andy Robertson. Tottenham, Arsenal and Leicester are also mentioned with the three-time Greece international’s asking price, a whopping £22million.

TBR’s view European form proves quality of Tsimikas

The left-sided defender has shown in both the Champions League and Europa League that he is more than capable of cutting it with the big boys. The Greek ace has even laid on an assist in the Champions League against Bayern Munich this term.

Arsenal have Kieran Tierney, Sead Kolasinac and Bukayo Saka, so he is hardly needed at The Emirates. Leicester could do with a replacement for Ben Chilwell, while Tottenham may need to replace Danny Rose on the left side of defence.

The report also makes a good point, in that Liverpool need cover for Robertson. When the Scot has been sidelined, James Milner covers him but the English veteran is much more renowned for being a midfielder. A good signing, for any side.
