Report: Leicester want Martin Dubravka as Newcastle eye Maddison
Leicester City may face a fight to keep James Maddison away from Newcastle, but it seems that Brendan Rodgers is keen to have another player move in the opposite direction, that the Foxes want Martin Dubravka.
It has been a frustrating summer for Leicester. They are yet to make any significant signings. And it appears that they will need to sell players before they can bring anyone in.

Unfortunately, the player attracting bids is Maddison. The Daily Mail reports that Newcastle have now made a second bid for the £60 million-rated 25-year-old.
But another member of the squad who may be on the move out of the King Power Stadium is Kasper Schmeichel. that the Dane is set to join Nice.

It is a surprise to see Schmeichel on the verge of leaving. But Leicester are prepared for his possible exit. And one name on their radar is Dubravka.
Leicester want Martin Dubravka
Dubravka would be forgiven for considering his options this summer. Newcastle have signed Nick Pope. And it would be a surprise if the former Burnley man was not first-choice during this coming season.
The Slovakian is arguably too good to not play. He has been an ‘‘ signing for the Magpies. And at 33, he will surely be very keen to not sit on the bench for the final years of his peak.
Obviously, Newcastle may hope that it presents an opportunity. Currently, they are some way from meeting Maddison’s asking price. So clearly, some kind of swap deal may ultimately suit all parties.
