Report: Leicester City likely to beat Aston Villa in the race for Luton Town star James Justin

Leicester City are the most likely club to win the race for Luton Town defender James Justin, .

Aston Villa also want Justin but Leicester are in pole position to win this race. As a result, the Villans will instead try to sign Rangers captain James Tavernier.

Justin has been a standout performer for Luton in the past two seasons. The youngster has been a key fixture as Luton won back-to-back promotions from League Two to the Championship.

In the 2018/19 season, Justin played 52 times in all competitions, operating at right-back, left-back and further forward on the wing.

The 21-year-old weighed in with three goals and nine assists to take his total tally to six goals and 13 assists in 114 senior games for Luton.

Born in Luton, Justin has come through the ranks at his hometown club and offers his new suitors the perfect blend of youth and experience.

Leicester manager Brendan Rodgers wants a new right-back with Ricardo Pereira operating further forward and Danny Simpson departing.

Justin is their number one target and he could join fellow promising youngsters like James Maddison, Hamza Choudhury, Ben Chilwell and Harvey Barnes at Leicester.

The England U20 starlet has a bright future but Aston Villa look set to miss out with Leicester favourites to wrap this deal up.
