, the Whites plan to turn their attention to Kent, who is enjoying a stunning season at Ibrox.

Kent has been linked with a potential Elland Road switch throughout the summer. that Leeds had had a £10 million bid rejected and were considering increasing their offer to £14 million.

More than a month later, it now appears that he could make another move for the 23-year-old.

TBR View: Leeds need something special to land Kent at this stage

It is surely fair to say that Leeds are going to need to make the kind of bid Rangers cannot afford to reject to land Kent.

The youngster showed when the previous speculation came about that he is not going to let talk about his future distract him from producing brilliant performances for Steven Gerrard’s side.

It is therefore, difficult to see Kent doing anything to try and make a move away more likely in the final days of the window.

That stance could perhaps change if Rangers accept an offer. But Leeds surely to produce something special to tempt the Gers into considering a sale of their key man with the deadline looming.
