And while it is widely accepted that a deal is in place for Leeds to land Harrison, of the £11m fee is a fresh update.

Harrison has been with City since 2018 but it is with Leeds he has made his name, making over 100 appearances already. He was integral as the Whites won promotion last term while this year, he has progressed even further.

Now 24, Harrison will be hoping to get settled and become a major player for Leeds in the coming seasons. The winger got his chance initially with Man City affiliate, New York City. He scored 14 goals in the USA in just over 50 appearances, before proving himself with Leeds following a spell with Middlesbrough.

TBR View: £11m an absolute steal for Jack Harrison

In the modern day, landing a player of Harrison’s quality for a little over £10m is a remarkable piece of business.

He has been superb in the Marcelo Bielsa revolution and continues to improve as well. In fact, England honours could well follow if he continues on the upward trend he’s shown so far.

If this £11m fee is the right one, then this is a no-brainer from a Leeds point of view as they look to build for next season.
