Report: Leeds plotting late swoop for ‘giant’ defender; same agent as Aaronson and Sinisterra
Leeds United are reportedly targeting a late move for West Ham right-back Harrison Ashby, according to Alan Nixon.
The journalist said on his that the Whites are pushing hardest ahead of Newcastle United to sign Ashby.
Ashby would reportedly be open to a move to Elland Road.

However, West Ham are apparently reluctant to let him leave due to defensive injuries to the likes of Ben Johnson.

Ashby has come through the ranks at West Ham and is one of their most talented youngsters.
He has already made six appearances for West Ham’s first team and is also a Scotland Under-21 international.
Of those six appearances, four have been starts, including in the 3-1 Europa Conference League win over Viborg earlier this month.
Meanwhile, in 36 appearances for their U21s, Ashby has netted three goals and provided nine assists.

Do Leeds need a right-back?
Admittedly, Leeds are currently fairly well-stocked at right-back.
Jesse Marsch has Rasmus Kristensen, Luke Ayling and Cody Drameh at his disposal on that side.
Left-back is more of a pressing issue, with just Junior Firpo as an established senior left-back.
However, Ashby can also , so perhaps his overall versatility is what may interest Marsch.
