Report: Leeds now want league-winning attacker to replace Raphinha, he’s seriously ‘fast’

Gnonto has already made his senior international debut for Italy, and scored his first goal for the Azzurri against Germany.
Leeds interested in signing Gnonto
Jesse Marsch’s side have had a focus on recruiting exciting young talent and then offering them early first-team minutes.
Marsch commented ahead of Leeds’ 2-2 draw with Southampton that forward Sonny Perkins and Mateo Joseph Rodriguez could both make first team debuts this season.
Gnonto would therefore be joining a talented group of attackers looking to push their way into Marsch’s side.
, but that he’s also capable of playing on the wing, and although it would be a big step up, this would allow him to eventually replace Raphinha.
However, in Rodrigo, Leeds might already have a player Gnonto can learn from in the squad.
The Spaniard, who is the Premier League’s top scorer with three goals, also typically plays in behind a striker, but has been deployed out wide in his time at Leeds when needed.
If Leeds could sign Gnonto for less than £5m and then have him develop under the guidance of Rodrigo, they could have a serious player on their hands.
Financially, signing a player who’s so young and yet already in the national team fold of the European champions also makes complete sense, and could make the Whites a lot of money in the future.
