Report: Leeds-linked teenager undecided on future, AS Roma also keen
that PSV Eindhoven are in talks with reported Leeds United target Justin Lonwijk but are yet to agree a deal with the 19-year-old playmaker.
Lonwijk is unwilling to put pen to paper on a new contract with the Eredivisie outfit. His current deal expires in the summer, and PSV are fully aware that they could lose one of their brightest young prospects.
that Leeds were interested in luring Lonwijk to Elland Road. He would be the second Dutch player to have moved to Yorkshire, after centre-back Pascal Struijk.
The likes of Mateusz Bogusz, Aapo Halme, Kun Temenuzhkov and more have all shined for Carlos Corberan’s Under-23 side since joining the club from overseas.

The interest from Leeds – and indeed Italian giants AS Roma – is making it difficult to Lonwijk to commit to PSV. that even if his contract expires, PSV will be due £350,000 in compensation.
TBR’s view
Lonwijk has enormous potential. The Netherlands Under-19 international has played 17 times for PSV’s second string, who turn out in the second tier of Dutch football. He has scored three goals, and laid on three assists.
Leeds’ success with their Under-23 side, including the Professional Development League North win, shows how far the reserves have come. Lonwijk would certainly improve if he was included in that side.
At the tiny six-figure price, Lonwijk would be an excellent purchase.
