Report: Leeds-linked Nicolas Gonzalez out for up to six weeks
Leeds United may have to take a gamble if they still want to sign Nicolas Gonzalez this summer, that the striker is set to be out for around four to six weeks due to injury.
that the Whites were plotting a £20 million bid for the Stuttgart star.

Admittedly, Leeds have since added Rodrigo Moreno to their ranks. So it may well be that they have moved on from pursuing Gonzalez.
But if they do remain keen, it would appear that their hopes of landing the 22-year-old have been dealt a blow.

Gonzalez – who, according to the report, wants to move this summer – will miss up to six weeks of action after sustaining a hip injury.
The report notes that the striker suffered the problem during their pre-season friendly with Strasbourg.
Of course, any side looking to sign Gonzalez can still get a deal done. But it would appear that a move would be more of a risk as he is unlikely to be fully fit before the transfer window closes.
He may therefore, struggle to pass a medical. So it will be very interesting to see if anyone decides to roll the dice.
It is perhaps not the most serious injury. But given that he may cost at least £20 million – – it may not be a huge surprise if ultimately misses out on a move away this time around.
