Manchester United and AC Milan are both said to be tracking the talent, who is said to be the next bright prospect coming out of the Arsenal academy.

The starlet has been developing rapidly in the Gunners’ youth ranks after arriving from Sunderland and to date, he has scored 22 goals since U18 level

He has also made his mark at youth international level, notching 15 goals in 20 appearances for the U17/18s.

Greenwood could set suitors back around £3 million with add-ons, but there is no doubt there is big potential.

It is understood that if Leeds were to land Greenwood, he would initially go into the U23 squad before hopefully catching the eye and getting a first-team chance

TBR’s View – Leeds may fancy themselves

Leeds will surely be feeling fairly confident of landing Greenwood, despite interest from United and Milan, having only done business with Arsenal a year ago.

The Gunners sent striker Eddie Nketiah on loan to Elland Road, before recalling him in January, and will be hopeful of prising a top young talent from the north Londoners.
