Report: Leeds decide against moving for ‘fantastic’ Liverpool player
Leeds United enjoyed a superb return to the Premier League last season.
After 16 years outside the top flight, the Whites shone on their return to the big time.
Under Marcelo Bielsa, Leeds finished in the top half and won plaudits along the way for their exciting football.
Now, the Elland Road side is preparing for the 2021-22 campaign, hoping to kick on from last term.

However, one player Leeds won’t be attempting to sign is Liverpool’s Harry Wilson.
The Whites reportedly wanted the Reds winger last season, but no move materialised.
“We know that Leeds United had started working on a deal for (Wilson) much earlier in the summer,” David Ornstein last September.
“That didn’t develop I think because Marcelo Bielsa decided that Wilson wasn’t the right player for him.”
Now, has looked at the Wales international ahead of Euro 2020, in which the Dragons will be competing.
Wilson’s Anfield future is reportedly uncertain and the outlet claims he’s increasingly likely to leave for good.
also feels that Liverpool might have to lower their transfer fee – quoted as €20million or around £17million – if they want to sell him.
Rangers have apparently been priced out of a move for Wilson.
Meanwhile, Leeds “were believed to be interested but have decided against a move that would stretch their budget for a single player.”

Wilson looks unlikely to make the grade at Liverpool but he’s got all the makings of a successful career.
During the past four loans at Hull, Derby, Bournemouth and Cardiff, he has had a direct hand in 57 goals in just over 100 appearances.
Wilson has also done well for Wales, winning 24 caps and scoring five goals.
Roy Keane praised one of the 24-year-old’s goals, in last November’s UEFA Nations League win over Finland.
Speaking on ITV Football (11/11/20, 11:45 pm) Keane said: “I loved this goal.
“Bale’s gets a break of the ball, it’s the run from Wilson [from the edge of the box into the penalty area], brilliant, outstanding and lovely weight of pass.
“Beautiful. I can watch that all night. Fantastic.”
If Liverpool lower their price, could Leeds potentially rekindle their interest in Wilson?
