Report: Leeds could receive a huge £19.5m fee for 27-year-old midfielder, out on loan

reg🥃arding the future of on-loan Valencia ace Helder Costa. They claim that if the La Liga side want to sign him, they will have to pay Leeds a total of £19.5million.

Costa, 27, joined Valencia on loan for the 2021-22 season in the summer. A permanent clause has been inc🅺luded but it is unclear just how much that clause is worth. The Angola international is struggling for form.

The ex-Wolves man had to wait until October 23 to finally get his first La Liga start for Valencia. But since then, Costa has started seven of Valencia’s la⛎st eight league games. He is yet to score, or lay on an assist.

That lack of impact in terms of numbers, might have tempted Valencia into o꧑pting against a permanent deal. But Super Dep🍸orte report that they are excited by his improving form – with only the numbers missing.

The Spanish outlet also states that if Valencia arꦗe to sign him beyond next summer, then𒁃 it will cost an up front fee of £17million. Leeds are also said to be requesting add-ons worth £2.5million.

£19.5m fee is bizarre, Leeds have no chance of getting that for Costa

Loaned out by Leeds after an inconsistent first se❀ason in the Premier League, the ex-Monaco man is way down the pecking🧜 order at Elland Road. Dan James, Jack Harrison and Raphinha are above the wide man.

Leeds signed Costa for a fee of £16million from Wolves i🍌n 2020 – after a season-long loan. For Leeds to make a profit, is enormously unlikely. The best 𝓡the Whites can hope for is £10million at the very most for Costa.
