Report: Leeds consider moves for Fabian Delph and Danny Rose

Leeds United are reportedly eyeing moves for Manchester City midfielder Fabian Delph and Tottenham defender Danny Rose.

, Whites boss Marcelo Bielsa wants to add top-flight experience to his squad following promotion to the Premier League.

It is understood that manager Bielsa has picked out Delph and Rose as two targets, with both previously starting their careers at Leeds.

The report explains that the Yorkshire club are confident of securing a £5million deal with Everton for Delph, who has been out of favour and struggled at Goodison Park in the 2019/20 season.

Meanwhile, the report adds that Spurs full-back Rose would also demand a similar £5million fee and he’s set to be keen on finding a new club, after spending the second half of the season out on loan at Newcastle United.

Leeds rumours are circling at a busy rate right now following the Championship promotion and links to two former players seem obvious.

Delph is a left-footed central midfielder that previously won two Premier League titles and on his day was a quality enforcer, but his form has declined massively in the past two years and he looks miles off the player he once was.

The 30-year-old would bring plenty of experience to Elland Road, but whether he’d get into a midfield consisting of players such as Kalvin Phillips and Mateusz Klich seems unlikely.

Rose, 30, is another former England international that has dropped off despite an excellent career and the wages needed to sign him seems unlikely for Leeds considering their options at left-back already.
