Report: Leeds, Aston Villa and West Brom want Teemu Pukki; move unlikely
Leeds United, Aston Villa, West Bromwich Albion and Wolverhampton Wanderers are amongst the Premier League sides to have shown an interest in Teemu Pukki this summer, that Norwich City are set to keep the striker.
Pukki was one of many Canaries players to impress for much of their most recent season in the Premier League. Of course, Daniel Farke’s men were ultimately relegated, but there were definitely times when they looked superb.

Pukki ended the campaign with 11 league goals. He has already opened his account this term, with one goal and one assist.
Perhaps unsurprisingly therefore, there appears to have been plenty of interest. that the Whites, Villans, Wolves, Baggies and Sheffield United have all enquired about the 30-year-old.

However, the report notes that the Finland international is unlikely to move this summer. It is suggested that his future could become a talking point in January – particularly if Farke’s side are out of the running for promotion.
TBR View: Pukki would have been a smart signing for most Premier League sides
Pukki’s form in England suggests that he would have been a superb signing for a number of clubs. He has scored 41 league goals in just over two seasons at Carrow Road.
No Villa and Sheffield United player reached double figures for league goals last term. Meanwhile, Leeds and West Brom would have been forgiven for feeling that their returns to the highest level would be made easier by adding Pukki to their ranks.
A move appears to be out of the question for this window. But if his impressive record continues over the coming months, Norwich will surely need to brace themselves for further interest in the New Year.
And Pukki may have a tricky decision to make if an immediate top flight return is not on the cards. But even then, surely none of his admirers can expect a clear run to his signature.
