Report: Leeds are in ‘advanced talks’ to sign 23-year-old talent on a permanent deal
Leeds United are in talks to sign Dan James from Manchester United on a permanent deal.
, the Yorkshire side are in ‘advanced talks’ to sign the Welsh international. Leeds have been linked with James for some time now. And now the Premier League side appear to be close to making a breakthrough for the winger.
James is not in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s plan for the 2021/22 season after the Manchester giants signed Jadon Sancho earlier in the month.
The shock return of Cristiano Ronaldo will also make it harder for the attacker to break into the starting XI.

Indeed, Leeds have held an interest in James ever since his days with Swansea City. In fact, Marcelo Bielsa was close to signing the winger in the 2019 January transfer window.
However, the Elland Road side missed the deadline to complete the transfer.
However, it now looks like Bielsa and Victor Orta will now get their man after over two years since the failed transfer.

Leeds are on the market for an attacker. And James suits the profile of what the Yorkshire side are looking for this window.
With under 48 hours to go until the end of the summer market, Leeds have a race against time to get the deal done if they are to avoid a repeat of the last time they tried to sign James.
