Report: Leeds and Aston Villa want Liverpool’s Rhian Brewster

Leeds United and Aston Villa are amongst the group of sides interested in signing Liverpool striker Rhian Brewster on loan in January, .

Brewster looks set to be on the move in the winter. The Mirror reports that Jurgen Klopp has opened the door for the 19-year-old to leave on loan. And it has not taken long for a queue of admirers to form.

that Leeds and Swansea City are interested in offering him a spell in the Championship.

Meanwhile, Villa and Crystal Palace are hoping that the Reds would prefer to have him play in the Premier League.

Where could Brewster go?

It is little surprise to see Villa and Palace interested. Wesley has made a bright start to life with the Villans. But Dean Smith arguably needs greater depth in the final third.

Meanwhile, Palace – who were beaten by Liverpool on Saturday – have found goals even more difficult to come by. Jordan Ayew has done well, but just four other players have scored this term.

Leeds’s interest is perhaps intriguing. And it may be fair to suggest that they would be underdogs for Brewster’s signature if their squad remains the same in January.

Patrick Bamford has impressed this year. Meanwhile, Eddie Nketiah has also caught the eye since arriving on loan from Arsenal in the summer. With Leeds also already having six loanees on the books, it is difficult to see the Whites making a move unless at least one of their temporary signings return to their parent club.

Like Bamford at Leeds, Borja Baston has scored six league goals for the Swans this season. So Brewster would also face a fight for a chance if he headed to the Liberty Stadium.
