Report: League winners have now made their move to sign ‘phenomenal’ Tottenham player
Serie A champions AC Milan want to sign academy graduate Japhet Tanganga from Tottenham Hotspur this summer.
Journalist reports that Milan have now made their move to sign the defender, whose season was ended in January by a
The report claims that Milan have now met with Tanganga’s agent to try and get the wheels in motion over buying him from Spurs.
Spurs are in the market for a new right wing-back, in the shape of Djed Spence, and with Emerson Royal and Matt Doherty already at the club, that is bad news for the Englishman.

Milan want Tanganga
The report says that Tanganga wants to play regular football in the season ahead and his chances of doing that at Spurs may be slim.
Milan have recent history in terms of taking an English defender from a London club, giving him regular gametime and transforming his career.
Fikayo Tomori went to Milan from Chelsea and is now a Serie A champion and back in the England squad ahead of the 2022 World Cup.

In August 2021, a Tottenham coach said to about Tanganga: “He has the assets to be a phenomenal right-back.
“With a bit of work on how he can produce in the final third more — improving his crossing and passing — he could become one of the best right-backs in the league.”
Milan were linked with a loan swoop for the defender in January and now they seem be keen again, and we will wait and see how this one plays out.
