Report: Lampard to leave ‘fantastic’ Everton player out of squad tonight, he’s getting closer to leaving
Alli is not expected to feature for the Toffees against Fleetwood Town in the Carabao Cup this evening.
The 26-year-old would have been hoping to revitalise his career at Goodison Park, but looks set to leave the club after less than a year.

Alli has made just 13 appearances since arriving in January, and failed to register a goal or assist in that time.
Everton manager Frank Lampard described Alli as a ‘great asset’ only a few weeks ago, but has not been able to help the former Tottenham Hotspur player to rediscovered his best form.
Alli nearing a move to Besiktas
Once described as a ‘fantastic’ talent, Alli is about to embark on an opportunity to find his best form away from the public eye.
Turkish side Besiktas haven’t qualified for any European competition this season, so Alli won’t be popping up on a midweek night against English opposition this year.
The 37-cap England international last appeared for his country three years ago, and with a World Cup on the horizon, he’ll need to find his best form immediately to be in with the slightest chance of a call-up.

He’ll be linking up with former Spurs players Gedson Fernandes and Georges-Kevin N’Koudou if the move does go through, and having some familiar faces at the club should help him settle in.
Tottenham will still be owed some money from Alli’s January transfer if he joins Besiktas.
The move could also open up a spot for one of Everton’s youngsters this evening to make their impression on Frank Lampard.
One 19-year-old was blocked from leaving the club earlier in the summer, and he will be hoping he gets his chance against Fleetwood.
