Alli only joined the Toffees back in January but has struggled to break into Lampard’s side since making the switch from Tottenham Hotspur.
And it seems that the Everton boss is already willing to let the player go, despite labelling him a ‘big asset’ for the club just two weeks ago.
: “We all knew the position [at Spurs]. At the same time, we also knew if we could get him in the sweet spot of where he was then he would be a big asset for us.
“It’s a clean slate on many levels for everybody this season and for Dele for sure. He’s worked hard in pre-season and he’ll be a very useful player for us if he keeps applying himself in the right way.”
Lampard now willing to let Alli leave
But now it seems that Lampard is willing to let the 26-year-old leave on loan as he looks to reshape his squad.

The Blues boss is apparently desperate to sign a striker and the former Spurs man could now be heading out the exit door.
Alli has struggled since making the switch from Spurs and reports suggest that the player isn’t working hard enough in training to impress his boss Frank Lampard.
The former England international has clearly lost his way in recent years but at one point he was seen as one of the best young midfielders in Europe.
But he hasn’t been able to force his way into the Everton side and Lampard has even opted to play a winger in Alex Iwobi over him in midfield.
Despite only signing for the Toffees six months ago, Alli may already need to seek a move away to start playing regular first-team football.
