Report: Kylian Mbappe was promised PSG would sign ‘monumental’ Tottenham target
Kylian Mbappe was promised that Paris Saint-Germain would sign players including Milan Skriniar during the summer.
report that Mbappe was told Skriniar, Robert Lewandowski and Bernardo Silva would all be joining.
None of them came, and Skriniar also attracted summer interest from Tottenham, who ended up signing Clement Lenglet on loan at centre-half.
That temporary solution on the left of their defence means they may well be in the market for a new defender in the coming summer.

Mbappe signed a new deal with PSG after a huge saga last season but is already saying he wants to leave, as per the report.
It seems he is disappointed with what the club did after his renewal and it appears he rates Skriniar highly if he wanted him to join.
That is good news for Spurs in some ways, but they may not fancy their financial might in a transfer tussle with PSG, especially if they are looking to spend big to convince Mbappe to stay.
Described as a ‘‘ player for his performance against Liverpool last season, Skriniar would surely be a great signing for Spurs or PSG.
He is a ready-made, top class player who could take Spurs’ back three to another level under Antonio Conte, who has worked with him before.
