Report: Kamil Miazek joins Dinamo Batumi five months after Leeds United release
Former Leeds United goalkeeper Kamil Miazek has finally found himself a new team, five months after being released from his contract at Elland Road.
The Polish stopper has been out of contract since the end of the Championship season in August.
Whilst never making a first-team appearance for Leeds the Polish stopper was the club’s third-choice keeper for most of their promotion campaign.
In fact, he spent 19 of Leeds’ 46 Championship fixtures last term on the bench, waiting for a chance to replace either Kiko Casilla or Ilan Meslier.

His contract expired at the end of the campaign and with no chance of first-team football with the Whites Leeds let him go.
It has been a difficult task for the talented stopper to find himself a new club. A trial spell with Dutch side Heerenveen came to nothing in November and Miazek has found himself coming up short in the hunt for a new place to call home.
Until now.
Leeds fans will be pleased to hear that their former third-choice stopper has found himself a new team, in a rather unexpected destination.
Miazek has signed a deal with Dinamo Batumi, who finished second in Georgia’s premier competition, the Erovnuli Liga last season.
Miazek has signed a two-year deal with the club with the transfer facilitated by former Legia Warsaw player, Vladimir Dvalishvilli, who is the director of football at Miazek’s new club.
The 24-year-old will now hope to earn a place as the regular starter between the sticks for his new club and hopefully show why he was so highly thought of at Leeds during his near three-year stint at Thorp Arch.
