Mourinho reportedly agrees deal for striker linked with Arsenal move
Arsenal have been rocked by the news that Chelsea have agreed a £34 million deal to sell Tammy Abraham to Roma,
The Gunners had hoped to sign the player from their London rivals. They were keen on doing a loan to buy deal, although Chelsea had a desire to sell.
Now, Jose Mourinho looks set to raid his former club to sign the powerful talisman ahead of his team’s season getting underway.
The 23-year-old now has a decision to make. He must now decide whether he wants to head to Italy or pursue another move before the transfer deadline.

Abraham scored 12 goals and claimed six assists during 2020/21. He was, however, left out of the squad for the Champions League Final back in May.
That appears to have been the final straw and with Romelu Lukaku set to sign for Chelsea, he will be nudged down the pecking order.
Abraham earns in the region of and it will be interesting to see if he believes Roma is the right move for him.
It had previously been stated that Arsenal could lead the race to sign him. Some outlets had suggested that the player held a desire to stick in London ahead of next season.

The Gunners are in need of freshening up their attack and at 23, Abraham might have proved ideal.
Arsenal get their season underway this Friday when they travel to Brentford in what looks like a tough game.
