Report: Jesse Marsch now expected to have ‘really exciting’ 23-year-old available after Christmas
Leeds United’s first team squad have flown out to Spain as they step up their Premier League preparations.
Jesse Marsch’s side return to action in just under three weeks, and have enjoyed some time off.
The knocks were starting to add up for Leeds before the Premier League paused.
Patrick Bamford’s fitness has been a concern for some time, while Stuart Dallas has yet to play a minute this season.
Junior Firpo has also been in and out of the team, but is finally getting over a groin strain.
There’s good news in attack too, that Luis Sinisterra is close to returning from injury.

Sinisterra wasn’t fit enough to start for Leeds until their fifth game of the season after picking up a knock in pre-season.
He scored in back-to-back games before the September international break.
Unfortunately, a foot injury ruled him out of action in October until after the World Cup.
Sinisterra is now close to returning from injury, and should be available in the New Year.
Despite being just 23, he’ll add another level of experience to a young Leeds attacking line-up.

The ‘really exciting’ winger has impressed Marsch during his short time at Elland Road.
He was originally wanted by AC Milan in the summer, and was seen as a replacement for Rafael Leao.

However, the Portuguese ended up staying at the club, allowing Leeds to swoop in.
Sinisterra’s quick feet and dribbling is the most exciting side of his game, but he’s also a phenomenally hard worker.
He currently ranks in the top 5% of wingers in Europe for tackles, interceptions and aerial duels won ().
The likes of Crysencio Summerville and Wilfried Gnonto have starred in Sinisterra’s absence.
However, Marsch will be very pleased that Sinisterra is close to returning from injury now.
