Report: Tottenham make their move to sign player Jack Grealish says is absolutely ‘unbelievable’
Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly in talks with Wolves to sign their speedy winger, Adama Traore, in what could be a £20m deal in January.
According to , Spurs transfer supremo, Fabio Paratici, has opened talks with Traore and Wolves about concluding a deal this month. It is believed Wolves would accept as little as £20m for the pacey Spanish star, who is yet to sign fresh terms at Molineux.
Traore, 25, has yet to register a goal or assist this season. However, he is apparently viewed as the ideal wing-back in Antonio Conte’s system. At the moment, summer signing Emerson Royal is struggling to make a huge impact.
Reports earlier in the week had claimed that Tottenham might even offer Mat Doherty back to Wolves as part of any deal to sign Traore. However, report suggests a straight cash deal.
Traore is well known for his speed and power. Despite the stat sheets not being full, he is appreciated for those attributes and can, on his day, run defences ragged. Indeed, Jurgen Klopp Traore as ‘undefendable’ after Liverpool played Wolves back in March.
