Report: Inter could offer swap for Leeds target Nandez

Inter Milan could make a swap bid involving Radja Nainggolan as they look to beat Leeds United to the signing of Nahitan Nandez, .

Nandez is attracting attention after a superb season in Serie A. He was a rare positive for the club, who just stayed up in the top flight.

that he has been on the radar of Leeds, Inter and Roma in recent months.

However, the report suggests Roma’s interest has waned slightly following Jose Mourinho’s appointment.

Leeds are in a strong position, with Calciomercato reporting that the Premier League side have an excellent relationship with Cagliari.

In fact, it was claimed earlier this week that the Whites were showing the strongest interest.

However, the Nerazzurri are not ready to throw in the towel. According to Calciomercato, Inter could offer Nainggolan as part of their bid for the 25-year-old.

The Belgian has already spent much of the past two seasons on loan with the club.

The report notes that Nandez’s release clause stands at £31.1 million, but Cagliari could listen to a swap bid.

Leeds may be reluctant to enter into bidding war for Nandez amid Inter swap reports

It is hard to see Leeds getting involved in a bidding war with Inter in the race to sign Nandez.

He could potentially be a fantastic addition to the Whites’ ranks. He is an excellent box-to-box midfielder with a superb ability to pick out a pass.

And many of the fans seem to be excited about the initial links earlier this year.

The Uruguayan is also at an age where he may be approaching his peak. So there is every chance that he would justify being signed for a considerable fee this summer.

However, Leeds have been incredibly shrewd in the market since their promotion.

So even if Inter put a bid involving Nainggolan on the table, it seems unlikely that Leeds will be at all tempted to deviate from their plans.
