Report: ‘Incredible’ 22-year-old is now highly likely to leave Leeds United this summer
22-year-old Ian Poveda is now highly likely to leave Leeds United before the end of the summer transfer window.
The say that could be on loan or even permanently, due to the surplus of wingers at the club now.
Poveda has been left off the club’s tour of Australia, even though Jesse Marsch was happy for him to do pre-season training at Thorp Arch.
He has some interest from MLS and the second tier of Spanish football, but it remains to be seen if a suitable offer comes forward.

Poveda likely to leave Leeds
Poveda was loaned to Blackburn last season, and that spell was not going to plan before a serious injury exacerbated the situation.
In November, he suffered a fracture and ligament damage to his left ankle which required surgery and a lengthy rehabilitation period.
And having come back from that, it seems the next step of his career could well be away from Elland Road as Marsch reshapes his squad.

When Poveda joined Leeds from Manchester City two years ago, he was hailed by Pep Guardiola, but his progression has not gone as planned.
He of Poveda: “He is young, he has to play.
“He was not able and I think Leeds United is an incredible challenge to be training for one of the best or maybe the best manager in the world in terms of how he helps the players to be better players.
“He has an incredible power to develop. For the way Leeds play suits perfect for his qualities.”
It has not worked out to be a perfect fit, despite Poveda’s ‘incredible’ potential and it remains to be seen where he will go next.
