Report: Huddersfield, Sheffield Wednesday and Preston join Leeds and Swansea in chase for Liverpool’s Brewster
The race for Rhian Brewster is hotting up.
, three new Championship clubs have joined Leeds United and Swansea City in the hunt for Brewster. Huddersfield Town, Preston North End and Sheffield Wednesday are the latest clubs to take an interest in Brewster.
Liverpool are likely to let Brewster leave on loan. The England U21 striker made his first-team debut this season but he could do with the game time to develop and stake a claim for a regular spot.

Alongside this Championship quintet, there are some Bundesliga clubs who want Brewster. The 19-year-old is also a target for Crystal Palace. But Jurgen Klopp wants Brewster to join a club where he is guaranteed some playing time so the Championship is more likely.
Swansea are reportedly in pole position to finalise a loan deal for Brewster. Steve Cooper, manager of Swansea, knows Brewster from their time together at England U17s. This is why the Swans are the most likely to sign the teenage striker.
TBR’s view
Brewster needs to find a club that will give him guaranteed playing time. At this stage of his career, he needs to spend half a season scoring goals in senior football to show Klopp what he can do.
Swansea seems like the best option given his relationship with Cooper and the fact that he is likely to play more than he would do at Leeds. This could be the making of Brewster.
