Report: How Arsenal’s players have reacted behind closed doors after seeing Pierre Emerick Aubameyang’s advert
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will face Arsenal in a Chelsea shirt🌜 on Sunday and has featured in BT Sport’s advert for the game.
He is pictured saying: “Arsenal, it’s not personal. I’m back. I’▨m blue. I’m ready,” fanning the flames ahead of his reunion with the club he used to captain.
Amazon’s All or Nothing documꦓentary showed the breakdown of Arteta’s relationship with Mikel Arteta, which led to him joining Barcelona.
In that serie𒉰s, we also saw Arteta use a tweet by Ivan Toney ahead of Arsenal’s clash with Brentford at the Emirates Stadium.

BT’s Chelsea v Arsenal advert heavily features Aubameyang
Writing in his weekly 🍌 Miguel Delaney has shared how the 🌄Arsenal players have reacted to the advert.
He wrote: “The Arsenal players have obviously seen Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s BT promo and it♔ has created a bit morﷺe edge for their trip to Chelsea on Sunday.
“The Gabonese striker is actually quite a popular figure in Mikel Arteta’s dressing room, b🐬ut he just wasn’t a good captain. The ad has naturally been mentioned a lot.
“It comes at a time when Arsenal had ma꧙ybe lost some of their emotional momentum. Arteta’s side had been flagging in games until they played Nottingham Forest. It could make for quite a chaotic game on Sunday.”
Some may say that something like this is a sideshow and it will not matter between players who know each other wel✨l and used to share a dressing room.
But it does add an additional dimension to the game. In previous years, it would feel almost written that Aubameyan🍃g would score on Sunday and Arsenal would lose.
The evidence of this season is that Arsenal are tougher and will not let that happen 🌺and how their fans would now love it even more if Aubameyang fails to find the net, and the Gunners will at Stamford Bridge for the second season running.
