Report highlights the odd £725k clause that prevented this Ruben Vinagre loan switch
Wolverhampton Wanderers confirmed yesterday that talented full-back Ruben Vinagre had switched loan spells, leaving Olympiakos to return to Portugal and play out the season with Famalicao.
The talented wing-back, who, has struggled to establish himself as a first-team regular at Molineux.
After a similar struggle in Greece, Vinagre will hope for better luck now he is back in his home nation.
It certainly seems as though Wolves have guaranteed that will be the case.

is claiming that a loan spell to another Portuguese club, Braga, fell through over a disagreement over a unique clause Wolves wanted to be placed into any deal.
It is claimed that Wolves wanted a guarantee that Vinagre would play at least 80 percent of games during his loan spell. If not, then a penalty payment of €800,000 (£725,000) would be due.
That same clause does appear to be present in the Famalicao loan deal, based on the wording of the report, so Wolves can be fairly confident that Vinagre will get plenty of playing time at his new club.
The good news for Vinagre is that this means Wolves do still see a future for him at the club. Hopefully, Vinagre can get the playing time he needs to develop and Wolves can still generate a future star from the 21-year-old.
