Report: Hertha Berlin want Liverpool star Marko Grujic on loan for third time
that Hertha Berlin are keen on signing Liverpool midfielder Marko Grujic on loan for a third time this summer – but this loan will include a permanent clause worth £13million.
Grujic, 24, has spent the last two seasons at Hertha Berlin – playing 54 times in all competitions for the Bundesliga side. In that time, he has scored nine goals for Bruno Labbadia’s side – as well as creating three more.
Having struck up a good relationship with supporters, Grujic is seemingly happy at Hertha. The Serbia international – who has 14 senior appearances for Liverpool under his belt – could now stay for a third season.
Hertha are keeping tabs on what Jurgen Klopp decides to do with Grujic and are ready to table a third season-long loan offer – but this one with a permanent £13million clause. It is believed he has bought an apartment in Berlin.

TBR’s view – Realistically, is Grujic going to play for Liverpool?
Gini Wijnaldum’s future is in doubt, but he remains at the club and looks more than likely to sign a new deal. Along with Naby Keita, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlin, Curtis Jones, Harry Wilson, James Milner and others, competition is rife.
So the chances of Grujic returning to Liverpool and featuring on a regular basis are unlikely. The best thing for the Serb’s career is to join Hertha on a permanent, where he knows he is first choice.
